It may have been a month now since schools have opened but it ain´t too late yet to shop for back-to-school supplies. Why? Because here´s the likely scenario:
It´s my boy´s second year in kindergarden and although it´s been a month since the kindergarden opened again after a long lockdown, we haven´t shopped for his back-to-school supplies yet. He´s still using his old backpack, which is still functional, and the weather is still warm to shop for jackets, boots, and overalls.
However, summer is likely to say goodbye anytime soon and as the cold wind starts to blow, it´s time to make an inventory of what my boy needs for the coming cold seasons.
If this is true to you and your little kid too, then read on because these are some of the coolest back-to-school supplies that you can shop for your little one.
1. Dolphin Print Back-to-School Set for Boys

Who doesn´t like a set? When I was a little kid I was so happy every time my mom bought me a set of supplies – backpack, umbrella, and pencil case of the same cartoon character, colors or print. There´s something about a set that makes a little boy or little girl giddy and so excited to wear it to kindergarden or school.
Now this set of rainbow whales coat, bag, snack/lunch bag, and pencil case is for boys. The blue print is nicely accented with yellow.
2. Hedgehog Print Back-to-School Set for Girls

Of course there´s also a back-to-school set for girls. This set boosts a gorgeous print of hedgehogs in dark blue background accented with girly pinks, yellowy, greens and grays.
She can wear the coat with her school uniform, with a dress or a pair of jeans. And she can also match her jacket with some wellies that match the color/s in the print.
3. All in One & Trousers
Now let´s talk about all in one jumpsuits. I love putting an all-in-one on my four-year-old boy in winter because that means he´s protected entirely. Whether he´s playing in mud or in the snow, when worn with some snow boots he is safe.
I also buy two strapped jumpsuits for my little boy. One is for kindergarden, which he wears when they play in the garden or in the sand, and another one for home, which he wears when he plays in our own garden or at the playground in fall and winter.
These puddle buster trousers are available in yellow and in blue, and both are unisex – perfect for boys and girls.
4. Back to School Coats for Little Kids
Coats are the number one staple for our little kids fall/winter wardrobe. I used to buy solid colored coats for my little boy because I find them more versatile that can be worn with anything. However, as he´s growing up and having his own sense of style, he´s now loving printed and colored pieces. He likes to talk about the prints on his clothes to his classmates and kindergarden teachers.
That´s why I`m pretty sure that my four-year-old boy will love bright printed coats too such as this sunflower puffling away printed jacket in yellow.
The puddle buster coat is also available in pine wood print. Imagine how the boys will love it when they´ll realize that they can hide well in the bushes because the coat is a perfect camouflage. My boy loves playing hide and seek in the garden and always hide well in the bushes.
The puddle buster coat for girls come in unicorn print in pink and in dinosaur print in blue.
For really chilly days, a reversible jacket which provides an extra layer of warmth will come handy.
My little boy loves fleece jackets because they´re soft and warm. In fact he loves anything fleece, including blankets and stuff toys.
5. Drinking Bottles for Kids
Steel Water Bottles for Girls: Dragon / Hedgehogs
Steel Water Bottles for Boys: Whale / Stars
Drinking bottles are a must for the little kids. Anything that can keep them hydrated works, but it´s a bonus if the bottle is cute and colorful.
6. Back to School Good To Go Bags

In my son´s kindergarden, we use good-to-go bags for our kid´s extra clothes. My boy likes his bag to have cartoon characters such as Lightning Mc Queen and super heroes however, I also find these horse and penquin prints beautiful.
7. Welly Boots for Kids
My boy uses two types of boots in kindergarden. One is for winter and another for spring/fall. The kids need wellies that will keep their feet warm or clean.
