I have been away for only a year but my fashionista godchild is growing up too fast. Alexis is now going to school and her style is clearly improving. Her mom posted some of her newest outfits in facebook and when she gave me a go to blog about her girl´s latest looks, I´m more than happy to oblige.
I love the simple but cute layering on this outfit. Both the pastel green tee and purple tights shone out because of that pink under layer tank top that provides the perfect transition. It didn´t help that her black boots with floral designs are ultra gorgeous. A definitely great look!
Not everyone can pull off a pair of loud printed tights, not even kids. But what makes this combo working is that the color of Alexis´ top was picked somewhere from the print. Although I´d prefer her hair done in a tidy knot or braid instead of a clashing printed head gear, she´s able to carry this look with attitude.
At first glance you wouldn´t think that the girl in photo is at K2, she looks more grown up her. I really love the way she poses for the camera, one like a model, and she looks cool and comfortable in a sporty sleeveless top and gray denim pants while her wide, black framed eyeglasses made her look like Miroslava Duma.
“Have fun and be yourself” is clearly Alexis´ rule when it comes to style. I think she´s a potential model in the making. She simply looks lovely in this shot. She knows she looks good and she enjoys it.
