3 Dresses for Girls That Will Transition from Winter to Spring

By Glee

Yesterday I covered the five essential pieces for women that will transition from winter to spring at the blogazine, but for young fashionistas, the essential transitional pieces are all dresses. Three different types of dress, that is. Inspired by Gap Kids featured looks, here´s how to work a gorgeous dress from cold to not so cold seasons.

The Sweater Dress

Sweater dress is a girl´s go-to frock in times when she needs to cozy up. A short-sleeved sweatshirt dress is even more versatile because it can easily transition from season to season, except probably in summer.

Do layering, and lot of it, in winter. Mix a denim jacket and eye-popping patterned tights such as stripes or dots with the sweater dress, then pull everything together with a beige trench coat.

The Tee Dress

A black and white t-shirt dress is definitely a season´s must-have. This basic monochrome is a huge trend for winter and will continue to do so in spring. So make sure to grab at least a copy of this frock for your girl.

On colder days, layer a knit sweater with gorgeous stripes atop a dot print dress, complete with denim jeans and dotted ballet flats. Once the sun turns friendly, swap the knit with a lightweight denim jacket to wear under the dress, then finish with cotton tights and colored-toe ballet flats.

The Shift Dress

You girl needs a dress which is a stand-along statement by itself. Worn as if saved a pair of black flats, a banded dress featuring gorgeous yellow stripes in black will look so polished.

Layer it up with a matching pair of yellow denim jeans and gray denim jacket for spring for a totally stunning result.
