Have you ever heard of K.I.D.S Fashion Delivers?

By Glee

K.I.D.S Fashion Delivers

“Kids In Distressed Situations” or K.I.D.S. Fashion Delivers is a charitable institution that provides marginalized kids with clothes that are suitable for every season. It unites retailers, manufacturers, foundations, and private citizens to form a strong organization that provides aid to people impacted by tragedies and poverty with brand new clothes.

The clothes are collected and effectively distributed by the organization’s agency partners. K.I.D.S provides people with new merchandise in order to not only improve the wellbeing of the poor and affected but also increase their self-esteem and dignity through the new merchandise. According to K.I.D.S, 1 out of every 6 Americans is poor, meaning 46.5 million people are in need of help in the U.S. alone.

If you find it in your heart to help those in need, you may opt to contribute your excesses to K.I.D.S. You might think that the U.S. doesn’t need a lot of help being a first-world country but in reality, it does. The U.S. might be a superpower but not everyone living in the country is living as comfortably as they deserve.

There are two ways to donate to the charity: donating clothes, and, of course, money. K.I.D.S. Fashion Delivers provides clothes manufacturers and retailers an effective way to dispose of their surplus and at the same time answer their social call from their community.

For money donations, K.I.D.S make tax-deductible gifts out of them to provide children all over the U.S. brand new essentials for use in school and home. So far, K.I.D.S. Fashion Delivers has been able to use every dollar donated by providing $100 worth of clothes to the poorest of individuals for every $10 that a private citizen gives.

If, however, you think that children in war-torn areas should be the priority, there are charities that provide aid to young children who are currently distressed by ongoing wars in the Middle Eastern region. Just like K.I.D.S, these organizations provide clothes, food, and education to children.

You can visit their website for more details on how you can make a donation to K.I.D.S.
